Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that is made up of 17 syllables. It is not a traditional form of English poetry, but is very popular with English writers. It is easy to write and, like the cinquain, can give a clear picture and create a special feeling using the minimum of words.
Haiku
1st line – 5 syllables 2nd line – 7 syllables 3rd line – 5 syllables1. Tree, under the mountain, Green, is what you can only see,
Bench and frog, still rolling.
2. Computer good, Can do many things for me,
Like it very much.
3. Books are my friends, offer me information,
deserved treasure.
4.Early spring
Snow cover melt
Grass grow
5.Hot summer
Sleep under a big tree
What a nice day
6.Autumn comes
Leaves fall slowly
Everything looks sad
7.Cold winter
Stay at warm house
Drink a cup of tea
8.The sea at springtime.
All day it rises and falls, yes, rises and falls.
